Hye there, my name is Tom, i'm 26,and I have just put together an ac/dc tribute band. Have a bassist, singer and a drummer and lead guitarist, just need a rhythm guitarist.
No gigging experience necessary, although much welcome.
Main base is around Dublin city centre, but will consider offers from people that live in Meath and Kildare, depending on transport.

The band will cover the legendary Bon Scott and Brian Johnson eras!

    Arrogant people need not apply.
This is for people who enjoy playing, and not for those that are stuck up and self-centred!

    So, anybody interested?

    ARE YOU READY...:D

    Tom

    Hi

Ive been looking into getting into a good band for ages , I would be quite intrested in the open guitar slot in your line up.

Im only 16 , But I believe im at least half decent . I was on Radio Nova's axe murderer compeition and came 2nd to a 27 year old.

Ive also been on rte 2 for a competition . Got into the top 16 chosen from 250 . if thats of any relevancy.

Heres some video's of my playing :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9M3rMZojy_4&playnext=1&videos=DtIMd_wuTp4&feature=mfu_in_order - an ACDC type tone I done (not my best)

Please let me know asap , Im a big acdc fan also.

    Hye there,
Well you're credentials are certainly impressive, and I am a big listener to radio nova, I do remember the competition.
So you played Sweet child o mine and the other chap played crossroads from Cream. You were pretty good man, and, sure you're so young..
Well, I'd definitely consider a jam session, but i'm not sure you would be into it as the slot is for a rhythm guitarist.. Does that appeal to you?

I'm just formin the band for the sake of enjoyment, im not looking for people with big egos, just nice down to earth people..

I would be into the slot for the rhythm , Im just in for the sake of enjoyment as you've said yourself .. Intrested ?

Ah sweet, I was lookin at the Peter Green Les Paul a few days ago, cos I bought a Fleetwood Mac album a few days ago, and I was looking up Peter Green. He had a really cool lookin Gibson Les Paul, but then he gave it to Gary Moore.
Ah i have a marshall amp too, and I have 5 gibson sg's. I'm gettin a 6th sg on Fri hopefully, a 1970 Gibson Custom SG Standard. ( Not a reissue!)

OK, anybody out there that is a singer and can sing in a brian johnson style voice? Need a singer now! Haven't heard from the other singer I asked, so I presume he can't do the job!
