Please Note that this is a change from the provisional date that was listed on our calendar and is due to operational reasons on the East Coast Range.

The details are as follows, 11:00, 12:30 and 14:00 a 10 shot final for the top 8 competitiors will follow at 15:30

Note the change of date - It's now on this Saturday, 2nd October, instead of the Sunday as originally scheduled. Here's the link to the information: NTSA 50m PR60 Nationals 2010

Now to go get my plannning permission altered and book my detail (I hope)!:D:rolleyes:

And while you have the slaves slaving away (for what else would they be doing), any full results for the Rathdrum Indoor the other weekend?

    Thanks, dC

The results for the Nationals went up last night and the Autumn Open results from Rathdrum have been delayed pending the completion of the 3x20 competition.

    Patience Grasshopper ;)

Cheers guys, good turn-out by all accounts.

What happened IWM? Malfunction? Or the paw still not mended?

Looks like Leslie will be losing that Class B status shortly :D

Leslie proved my point for me; that even if you hate 9.9s in a match, they can prove very useful in a final ;)

I called it quits when I had a string of shots (8s and 7s) that didn't reflect what I was shooting until I can see what the problem is. Weird thing is that it started off fine. Will hopefully get to shoot it this week to sort the problem.

Could be worth benching the rifle to see if that shows up the same problem. Its **** when that happens, its a case of trying to rule stuff out till you get the culprit.

I remember many moons ago making a string that went V 5 4 3 2 and then the foresight fell off onto the grass on Century range :o

In my defence I was only 14/15

I might do that this sunday alright. I'm just going to get down and shoot it first though. Hopefully I'll find there's something actually wrong, or it's going to be some indistinguishable problem I can't see with myself.

One of the things I noticed is that it's slightly uphill to the targets. As usual when I encounter a problem, I overthink it and end up checking every possible solution but the correct one :(.

By the time I'd figured it out, I was 40 sighters and 13 match shots down, but then I adjusted my hand stop and sling and got it together. Took the last 43 shots without getting up which accounts for a (ahem) slightly erratic score. :)

Still, 17x out of 23 10s is some consolation :D

fat_tony had worse problems, seeing as he discovered his Gehmann rear sight had a nice rattle in it. Nice of DURC to loan him the Walther, which he seemed to like. :)
