I'm looking at a 2006 Peugeot 407 1.8 petrol for a friend. It's a very well-minded 1 owner + demo car with under 45k kms and a FPSH. The owner wants a shade more than they're being offered as a trade-in net of cash discount, but is understandably unwilling to disclose this figure. Any ideas from those of you in the trade? The car is literally ready to retail. Thanks!

Realistic trade price - €4750 with that mileage for this time of year.

Have sold similar a couple of months ago, and it's coming to the stage where valuations are being done at 2011 prices now.

    ***EDIT

Don't suppose they'd be interested in a 2.2 petrol of the same vintage, with slightly higher mileage? (can't blame me for trying)

Thanks for that. Drop me a PM with the details of the 2.2.
