Free calls using Siemens Gigaset?

    Hi,

    I am looking for a solution to make calls between point A and point B.

    I see with the Siemens Gigaset phones they claim this can be done free when you purchase one of their phones.
    e.g.

    This is for my girlfriend so that she can call home to Germany and they can call her aswell for free. She wouldn't be ringing anyone else. I'm thinking that I buy one phone for Ireland and one phone for her home house in Germany.

    Has anyone used their free calls via the "Gigaset IP network community"? Is the quality ok? Is it as good as it seems?

    Thanks, this could be a great find! I have a use for this similar to your GF.

    Do you become a free member of the "Gigaset IP network community" with the purchase of any Siemens Gigaset IP phone? I've tried to look into it, but the info on the Gigaset IP network community seems a bit vague.
