Dungarvan has changed it's ch for the PSB mix back to 55 .
This is causing interference to rte 1 broadcast from Crosshaven.
I thought we were entering a switch -over period , during which Digital and Analogue should be receivable without one affecting the other unduly.
This is not the case in Crosshaven, it will upset many viewers already affected by the loss of South Coast and drive many towards Sky and UPC.
Totally counterproductive.Channel allocation was supposed to facilitate this.
RTE 1 is showing significant CCI over a wider
area than before . I presume the ERP of this
    Mux has increased pre-launch.
RTENL has stated that the PSB mux is now going to stay on 55 as this is the allocated frequency, and the thousands of viewers with seriously degraded RTE 1 reception will just have to live with it or switch immediately to DTT.

Interfering with yourself is never a good idea :o
