A 9 year old shouldn't be worried about stuff like that. Tell her to go roll a hoop with a stick or something.

This is a tale about an unprejudiced heart, and how it changed our valley forever.
There was a time not so long ago when pigs were afforded no respect, except by other pigs; they lived their whole lives in a cruel and sunless world. In those days pigs believed that the sooner they grew large and fat, the sooner they'd be taken into Pig Paradise, a place so wonderful that no pig had ever thought to come back.

I was playing with one of my nephews last week... we were play-fighting & I went to karate chop him, saying "Hiiiiiyaaaa..... KARATE CHOP!"

He stopped me mid-way & said, in all sincerity.. "I didn't know you could do karate"!

My two kids, 10 & 5, were with me for two hours at a protest when Mr. Cowen came to the COC dinner in Sligo a couple of weeks ago.

As he drove through the gates there was a chant of "SHAME, SHAME, SHAME" as he went through the gates.

My daughter said that I was the loudest there (that made me proud) and that I was an embarrassment.

The next day when my son, 5, wouldn't give over the remote, my daughter started the chant at him "SHAME, SHAME, SHAME".

He handed it over straight away :D

Pity our Brian wouldn't do the same because my 5 yr old would do a better job and drink less.

Is there a pop up version of the general theory of employment, interest and money for 9 year olds? Christmas is coming.

I asked my 9 year old why he didn't want a girlfriend. He said it's like chocolate, why would you want to eat the same bar every day for the rest of your life

Went with my 6 yr old niece up-to the shop to get an ice-cream - she grabbed the cone too hard, it cracked, ice cream on floor.
She stares at the ice cream, and just says "Fcuk sake" and walks away.

My sis, 3 and a half, gets her hair cut where one of the hairdressers is gay. She knows he's gay, but doesn't know what gay is, so my older sis told her it's when you touch your finger to your wrist.

Now when she goes to get her haircut she flicks her hand forward to try touch her wrist and says "Gay Andy* is going to cut my hair."

    *Not his real name.

I'm so glad you decided to share this. You know most parents don't realise that complete strangers care what your kids get up to.

Stansted Airport, passport control, 2 year old decides now would be a good time to begin his career as a champion swearer.
"Fuсk off! Fuсk off! Fuсk off!" he shouts gleefully before side-stepping the guard and legging it across the concourse to (thankfully) the right plane. His clarity of diction and swagger of hip made me so proud.

Horrific! Especially for boards.ie's number one 24 fan - Make sure your own son/daughter says "Damn it!".

I was looking after two girls around this time last year, 7 and 8 all excited for Halloween.
So one of them starts "Trick or treat, give me something nice to eat or..ehh...emm.."
Other girl pipes in "Or I'll knock your teeth out!" :pac:

Indeed. She should be getting sh*tfaced on drugs and booze.
