Hi all! i work for a construction company in ireland! recently they have got contracts overseas! We have been overseas before working for them and they have payed our accomodation. But now with cutbacks and the like for the upcoming contracts they don't want to pay our accomodation. we'll still be payed from this country and be paying our taxes here! so i was hoping somebody here would be able to tell me what my rights in this situation are or where can i find out about them?
Thanks for any help you can give me!!!

Talk to your union. If you dont have one forget about it or give me your job :)

I wouldnt give much personal details in your post or previous/future posts because it is easy to know who the contractor you are on about is. Id also say given the state the industry is in contractors need to be ultra competitive and lean in order to secure work. If they are not then another contractor will under price them. So id say suck it up and keep your job or give it to someone else who would kick the door down right now for a job.
