What does everyone think of the new shoe collection launched today for Awear? I am so disappointed, I think they look very cheap for the price they are charging :(

Nothing special from what I can see on their website
    http://www.awear.com/get-the-look/shoes/icat/shoe_collection/&bklist=icat,5,shop,shop,awear_get_the_look,shoe_collection?intcid=hp1

Those wedge ones are awful looking. Just had a look at all and none jump out at me, and all look like you'd get them in good old Penneys for half the price

    I agree.
And the prices are crap. Way too expensive for a pair of pumps!!
The pictures they released first were way more exciting, these are just boring!!!!

As already mentioned above, nothing unusual or unique and far too expensive at the prices advertised. You'd buy a decent pair of (nicer) shoes in Shuh for the prices quoted there, and they do student discounts!

Not impressed at all TBH. Does anyone else think that the quality of their bags ahs really gone down? Cheap plastic, but not cheap price.

A-wear has began to annoy me, I find the prices are creeping up slowly.. Also, I hate the way that on asos you can't order most of the stuff as it says "does not ship to ireland". And the pieces are usually nicer as well!

Huh? I've never seen anything on Asos that won't ship to Ireland.

Those shoes are only barely above penneys standard.

Penneys and Awear very often stock similar items, same fabric and cut, so I am convinced they buy form the same supplier.

I think maybe ShoeRack use the supplier too, these platform courts are just hideous!

They look cheap and hardly fashion-forward.

I agree completely. For the last year/18 months or so I've found the clothes look cheaper, but are more expensive. I used to see things I wanted all the time and buy something every few weeks. There's very little in there for me now, which is such a shame.

I thought that was just me! Glad to know it's not!

I've noticed this a few times on several times from stuff by a-wear on the site... Maybe it's just a ploy so i don't spend more money!

I also loved their necklaces but after buying one that snapped in two days i think i'll go elsewhere

I agree with everything everyone else has said! Those quilted pumps are so cheap looking... Are they having a laugh with the price of them?!
I'm so disappointed; Awear's clothes have gotten so much nicer in recent years.
I do want to see the collection in the shop, though I definitely won't be purchasing!

€45 for pumps!! Seriously A Wear...fcuk off thats ridiculous money

I just tried to order a mango item on asos and acidentally clicked to purchase. Darn it!

Good news is it works though

I don't know, I quite like 2of the pairs of pumps. And besides, they're leather, most of the tack that costs that much in Schuh isn't so I can understand why they are that expensive. Are the exclusively online or can you buy them in the shops?

What do you all think of the boots they launched today.
For me the ankle boots are just a bit.....nothing.
The knee high ones are ok, but similar to alot that's out there.
And the prices... well it's already been said.
I think the issue is that they are high prices for awear!
Yes one would expect to pay €99 for a good pair of boots, but awear has always been about cheap and cheerful fashion. None of the latter apply to the shoes.

God those shoes are booooooooooooring!!! And as said already, whilst the pumps are nice enough, 45 euro or more for them is ridiculously overpriced. Really disappointing I have to say- they could do so much better with shoes that are a little more edgy. There are already dozens of shops that sell shoes like this- and for a lower price to I might add. Most of those shoes just remind me of those dingy boring Mammy/Granny shoe shops that you see dotted in little towns all over the country.

A/wear is being torn apart on their facebook page because of these shoes, almost everyone complaining about the price. Back to the drawing board with this one I think for A/wear!!!

I remember a few times looking in at the shoes on the models in the windows thinkinig I wish awear sold shoes- I take that back now-boring!! Although seriously in the window displays the shoes used to be amazing!! Is there a shoe section in blanch too?

Oh god I didn't even know they were launching a shoe collection today.

After looking at the link, I don't really think I missed out.

Not a good shoe collection, very disappointing!

I was so excited to see a shoe collection in awear and now I'm very 'meh' about it all! :(

I like the 'Brecken' and 'Arlene' pumps - but not enough to buy them @ €49! The prices are a bit much - I would have thought that they would have tried to follow NewLook's price range a bit closer. The cheapest shoe is €35!

Hopefully they'll drop the prices a bit when the launch the next lot of shoes.

I adore adore adore my shoes, I don't care where I get them be it Penneys Dunnes, Schuh, BT's if I like them I have to have them.

Had a quick squint at the Awear site at the shoes and won't be re-visiting, found them all very very dull, boring and cheap looking.
IMO, some shoes are amazing on their own and others need clothes to make them "pop" but nothing on that site appeals to me and like I said can't see myself ever making a return visit.

Buck up Awear on both clothes and shoes please
