    Any idea how i can stop this from popping up when i go into an area with no coverage?

    Settings->Carrier->Automatic.

    OR never step out of coverage/squeeze the phone in your left hand as if you really, really hate it. Like, it raped your entire family kinda hate.

    that doesnt give me the option to change anything, i presume ill just have to accept it !

    You can't remove it, you've manually selected the network, you have to set it to automatically select the network then the pop-up disappears.

    The network selection is automatic but i still get the thing all the time!!
