    Seeing as public holidays over the festive season fall on weekend days this year;

    Christmas Day (Saturday 25 December)
    St. Stephen's Day (Sunday 26 December)
    New Year's Day (Saturday 1 January)

    Do working people miss out on paid days off?

    Well if xmas or new years is on a weekend the holiday rolls over to the Monday so not too much.

    In my job we're made keep 3 days for xmas, this year there's 4 non holiday days but they just let it slide so we are actually +1 day :pac:.

    Yes, you do. Everyone else gts the Mon and/or Tuesday off but your boss is reading this and rubbign his hands.

    Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

    It probably just fell behind the couch cushions.

    No, Stephens day is still Sunday, the Monday is a bank holiday.
