Check out the Irish sign ABOVE the English sign on the entrance to RTE Studios. I doubt there are many Gaeltacht residing couriers working in Dublin, but you have to have the old signs 'As Gaeilge' above the language thats in common use. Of course you do.

Should have all signs in Irish.
    With English as the secondary.

So what's the Irish for "shove your phone up your hole ya lanky streak of piss"?

(please quote Irish translations above quote. Thanks).

That sign probably cost €0.20 of tax payers money including sellotape. You are not exactly Colm McCarthy there bud. RTÉ is a state TV service. There are two official languages in the state. Don't like it? Lovely country next door for you with only one language to worry about. Although Michael's aircraft have some Polish girls on board who might mutter some gibberish to each other between themselves, so you need to block your ears...

    Mar a d'iarr tú
    As you requested

"cuir do fón suas i do thóin leat, a sruth fada múin"
"shove your phone up your hole ya lanky streak of piss"

Does anyone else think this sounds like an Elvish love enchantment?

    who cares?!

Also RTE makes routinely shite content. Its like giving the Department of Very Boring Things a TV studio. Civil Service TV.
