picked up a 07 Smax , It has a complete ford service history to date, I would like to keep it up to date.
It's a long time since I visited a dealer for a service. What should I expect to pay for a dealer service, fuel, oil, air etc? It has done 85k Kms

Ford main dealers were doing a very good deal on service recently. Had my Mondeo serviced, oil filter etc and checked all levels and tyres etc 159 euro. :D

If it was just an oil and filter change and a general check over that does not seem like great value to me, in fact it seems to be on the extortionate side. Maybe you got air and fuel filters/ spark plugs and other bits and pieces changed though in which €159 euro might be decent enough value for what was done?

Then again maybe I'm totally out of touch and 159 quid is a good enough price for esentially an oil and filter change. Its just I do the servicing on my own and other family members cars and would not be so in touch with how silly the prices are at main dealers these days!

You;re right actually it was 99 euro , now that I think of it. Which is really good value considering the cost of the synthetic oil , filter and brakes, lights tyres , gearbox levels checked and a printout given. Book also stamped. Used to do this stuff myself, but what with removing sump covers , disposing of waste oil etc , would go back again for the 99 :p:p
