    Hi,

I saw a similar thread on this for the iPhone 4. Just wondering would you need to be connected to wifi to get the FM rdaio on the new ipod touch or does it have a normal radio?

    Thanks

The iPod Touch doesn't have a built in FM radio, so you would need to use an app that uses a Wifi connection.

Thanks for the quick response. It's a pity Apple do this. FM radios surely must be very basic tehnology (80s walkmans!) compared to some of the things they are doing now.

Not a technology problem . . For example, the Nano has a radio. I presume Apple just don't think there is the demand.
