Some little sc*mbag robbed the front number plate off my car over the weekend..

Anyone know a place in Dublin city centre where I can get a new one made? What do they cost?

Do I need to bring any paperwork?

    Tox

I bought embossed plates from eireplates.com recently and they delivered the next morning. No proof needed it's your reg or anything. It's sent by courier so someone will need to sign for them.

    recommend eireplates too.
just go to your local motor factors, maybe bring your log book/VLC just incase but ive never been asked for it before.

also report it to the gardai, most likely it was stolen for a robbed car or something similar, just a little strange they didnt take both of them tbh.

to answer second part of your question. twenty euro for a pair at an auto factor would be the normal price. so about ten euro for one.

They didnt take the back one as its bolted on with 2 bolts that would support a 2 ton weight.. you'd need a crowbar to get it off..

The front one was only stuck on by a panel beaters using double sided sticky tape after I had to get the bumper resprayed due my car being hit a few months back
