RTE1 DTT No Sound ?

    Hello

    Can anyone help please

    On my recently installed Samsung Tv i am picking up RTE 1, RTE 2 , RTE News channel etc.. but in past few days (maybe 1 week or so ) I am getting no sound from the RTE 1 channel, picture is there but no sound:confused:

    Anyone know whats that all about or how i fix it ?
    Before then it was working ok .

    Try changing to a different audio carrier. IIRC there is a blank carrier on all the tv channels.

    Super thanks a lot, appreciate it. You pointed me in the right direction, had a bit of a play around with the sounds and now i have sound.
    Thank you !

    Edit : crap,even if i say it, power off tv and come back in a bit, sound has vanished again, guess i need to have another play around.

    Have you tried a rescan? I know they've been messing with the audio carriers lately as the HD channel no longer has Lyric linked as alternative audio.

    Thanks will give that a bash, sorry no expert here.. what do i do ? a basic retune for all the channels again ?

    Spent over 1 frustrating hour trying to sort it last night, still no joy:confused:

    Will try again this evening.
