Hey, I'm looking to join a jogging club as a total unfit new beginner. Anyone know of somewhere near ringsend that would suit? I reckon with a club you'd be more likely to stick with it.

    Cheers

Crusaders AC is based in Irish and train regularly on a Tuesday and Thursday night in either Ringsend Park or on the track itself in Irish time. They have a website where I'm sure they must have contact details and training times on it!

Yes, a lovely new website that hasn't been updated since May *sigh* I suppose I shouldn't be putting the OP off but honestly I don't think Cru cater well enough for the complete beginner. But I'd say it's worth popping in there on training nights to have a chat to the coaches - I might be wrong.

I think they have a few newbies in the last while that a fairly new to the running game and they are looking after them. I think it's Michael McGovern or Susan Walsh you need to be talking to as I think it's them that looked after the Cru group. Think Michael does the top end of the field and Susan looks after the rest of them! Nothing to loose by popping down and testing the water I guess!
