I got a genuine electric window switch (driver and passenger window controls on driver side) for a fiesta I owned from a Ford garage < 10 euro (they didn't say anything about wanting to fit it etc.) Just saying the switch didn't cost the earth.

Not sure what they cost from Toyota garage but if it's driving you mad and the difference is ~5euro from a dismantlers, might be worth 1 good night sleep to you?

edit: Also they were able to get the part code from just putting the reg in to their computer - easy peasy

Thanks V, already tried, its a bit more expensive when they are available from dismantlers its like E60, from dealership >E200 apparently. But it is a flaw with the particular car model, so will ahve to keep on the hunt, the hyperlink you sent looks good will check that out.

    Thanks,

Ah more complicated than I thought then - must be some kind of a control unit dangling off it too somewhere

    try this too http://traynors.biz/

they are a car dismantlers up north with 10,000 cars - once postage is decent, might be worth a look

Cheers, they have a mighty set up! unfortunately they are out of stock (like the majority of dismantlers across the country lol). No harm they do stock them form time to time, so will just keep on to them.

    Thanks again,

    P
