Video projection with iPad?

Hey folks, Anybody successfully used an iPad with a projector for video? I teach a course, and the keynotes works great with the VGA adapter for the presentations etc, but can't figure out video. Would be so handy, cos could just leave laptop at home if I managed to get it working :)
