Was reading an interview with Benny Coulter in paper last week where he was chattin about bein marked by players who physically and verbally abuse you during the match. He said himself,Paddy bradley and Stephen McDonnell regularly talk about it.Funnily,he said he had no problem with "Ricey"-must never have been marked by him. I read something similar from McDonnell earlier in year.
It would appear that Monaghan and Fermanagh are the worst offenders.
Personally I think Paddy Stevie from Killeavy should look around their own dressing rooms before slaggin off other teams.Armagh and Derry boys no angels themselves.
Anyone have any feelins or ideas on who Bennys talkin about?

I reckon he's on about Dessie Mone from Monaghan. Benny had some run ins against him. And sure Bradley and McDonnell would probably testify that Dessie is someone they reckon is a prick to play against.

Yeah-McDonnell spoke about a game against Monaghan when he got sent off-said it was worst hed ever come accross.he claimed Fergal Doherty said the same when they met.
Must be bad when armagh, derry players talking publicly about him.
Mcdonnell really let raymond gallagher, fermanagh keeper have it for mouthin off at him during ulster final-didnt mention hearty and donaghy funnily enough!

Personally I'd like you to point out where Stevie was slagging off anyone! Benny Coulter's interview appears to refer to private conversations that have taken place between two or three of them. That Benny has chosen to publicise them can hardly be put down to Stevie slagging off anyone.

I do know that the Fermanagh keeper Ronan Gallagher gave Stevie some stick throughout the course of the 2008 Ulster Final and replay. Stevie effectively scored the winning goal in the replay with a matter of minutes left.

Stevie then pointed out to Gallagher the folly of his actions!! ;)

Edit: Apologies - I have just read that you are referring to another interview - I do recall that in the Tribune I think now that you mention it.

There's only one way this thread can go, so I'm locking it now. This isn't the place to go slinging mud at other counties and players.
