Think about all the pounds you shed trying to pick at the bloody sellotape around the sides.

Pick, pick, pick, pick, GRRRRRRRRRR (breaths). Pick, pick, pick, pick. GAH!

Thanks for the heads up on this though. Might do a 'super market sweep' on this! (Push trolley along the aisle with arm out. :D )

Yeah last year Superquinn and Supervalu had them for €5! I forget what Tesco finally reduced them to, but I remember a huge dash for them, Tesco had to limit how many one person could buy at a time, everyone was tin mad :D

Has anyone else been put off buying heroes because they're in a box? I know it's more environmentally friendly and all but... it looks like you're getting less. I like the tins.

Not a fan of the paper box either myself. It looks less substancial or something.

That reminds me, I've still got an unopened tin somewhere from last year!

    It is what it's.

    How much they usually?

In ye olden times prior to people shopping up north they would range from €12 to €15.

€5 was the lowest I think last year.

Normally, well according to Tesco it would be €14 a pop

talk about pettiness, going a penny under the €6.50 that most SuperValus are doing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,721 ✭✭✭✭thesandeman

Its actually 7 'pennies' cos you get 6 Clubcard points. Speaking of pennies, whats 950g in ounces?

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 19,707 Mod ✭✭✭✭slave1

    €6.50 in Supervalu Athlone

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,019 ✭✭✭Polar101

    How much they usually?

Usually they're on sale for €9.95 around "Christmas time" (as in, from July onwards).

I guess I'll have to start "stocking up for Christmas". *

*warning: tins won't necessarily have any sweets left in December

Bit of a moot point really if you ask me. You can't exchange your clubcard points for money in any event. Anyway I do believe Supervalu have their own shop and reward system now.
