    Hi Guys

I have an ad on another site for the item above but I thought I'd pop up a post here because I dont think the ad is targeting the right people at the minute. Please see the following link. http://adverts.ie/295334

The ad explains a lot, however, any questions or comments that you may have would be most welcome. We're trying to get in the region of €400.00 as the money is going to a very worthy cause - the jersey will be sold to the highest bidder.

    Best wishes

    Gareth

Can I ask what the cause is?

    Hi Ciaran

Of course you can ask. The proceeds from the sale will go to a benefit for my cousin who was killed in July this year. You may be familiar with the story as it got plenty of media coverage at the time. He was attending a friends wedding in Spain with his partner and two young children when his life was taken.

Unfortunately John had no life insurance. We held various fundraising events in the last few months to cover the cost of the funeral etc. We managed to get the Ireland Rugby and Soccer team to sign Jerseys for us. We also got the Dublin GAA Team sign one and we even got Jamie Carragher to sign a Jersey for us too. These items were raffled at a benefit night 2 weeks ago.

The person who won the Rugby Jersey kindly asked for it to be auctioned with the proceeds going to the benefit. I hope this answers your question.

If you need any further info, I'd be very happy to oblige.

    Best wishes,

    Gareth
