Issue Purchasing Adult Monthly Short Hop for October

    Hi everyone:

I'm moving back to Dublin in a week from the states and wanted to purchase the Adult Monthly Short Hop. I went online to DublinBus.ie to buy it off ticketmaster but when I went to pay, I was told that the ticket would be sent to my billing address (which is in the states). I would have it sent to my address in the states but it would be too late by then so I was wanting it sent to my new flat in Balbriggan but since my credit card's billing address isnt the same, that is not possible.

Question is, where can I buy it in Dublin? Would they have them at the airport? And will they still sell a Monthly ticket for October, if I purchase it on October 4th (my arrival date?)

Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a mill :D

Any dublin bus ticket agent can get that for you. I say get it, as a lot of shops wouldnt have them in stock ready to go as they are valuable.

I know I can have nearly any ticket within 48 hours.

Or just go into dublin bus on O'Connell Street and buy it.

Wish I'd read this sooner. Was running into every ticket agent I came across trying to get a day family short hop, but no ticket agent stocked them. Dublinbus.ie really should clarify this on their web site as it can be assumed for a first timer like myself that a Dublin bus ticket agent will have...Dublin bus tickets :)

Had to get it at Connolly station.

Good to know Dublin Bus on O'Connell St. is another option.
