    anyone on here ever had spool valves on a 20,how did ye work it,can a three way valve be fitted to these tractors?????

    Theoretically it could be done.

    later 20's have two tappings towards the front of the top cover, originally intended for a tipping pipe.

    You could tap a return into one of the inspection plates on the side of the rear housing.

    to use a spool valve you'd then need to fit braces from the lift arms up to the bar that the top link rocker pivots on, as if the arms raise the 20 will close off the lift valve.


    I've never done this, but that's the theory behind it on a 20, and I have heard of people breaking the back end casting doing it, but it should be doable.

    It can be done alright, can;t remember the detail now but I'll get pics next time I see it.
