So....what do we think about that?, lets address this issue first:

When was this episode written?...as in did the producers see the ratings side in the first 9 eps. and decide to change direction?, or was it written the same time as ep. 1-9?

Because my gut is telling me that this ep. and probably all the upcoming ones were not written or changed due to falling ratings.

As for the ep. - bastards!...i was watching the opening credits, no Amanda...we go through all the ep. and right at the end, F*CK!...she pops up, haggered owl cow!
Jesus, i really wanted that actor/character gone.......ffs!!!

They seems to have explained what Apotheosis is about and creating a VR heaven, few side stories with the Tauran mob and Cylcon/Greystone Ind. etc.

Overall...had some good scenes, especially the opening and blowing up the stadium...but overall, average. Just not gonna cut it if it continues on like this, sorry....it's gonna get sh*tcanned very soon.

I firmly belive that Sy-Fy bumped up it's premiere to see how it does in ratings + they want to bring that axe down sooner then waiting until January or Febuary to axe it.

The opening credits were unchanged,Amanda was there walking with Daniel on the roof. Knew she wouldn't be dead anyway.

Fairly pants IMO,not sure if Ill bother watching anymore. I am finding it hard to believe it is from the same people as BSG. The whole V world does nothing for me,its a $hit storyline.

They have no seemed to focus too much on the religious stuff. That seems to be the primary story now. I never had a problem with it in BSG,it was always there,it was important,and ultimatly very important in the series finale but it was never on overload every single episode. That whole thing on Gemenon with the "church" and its stupid looking robed leaders was absolute crap and then the "mother" character. Gah. First of all I couldn't help but think of Mom from Futurama! :P Secondly the actor they had playing her was pathetic. I thought it was some kind of joke at first,stop exhaling loudly from your nose stupid woman!

I see more and more BSG actors getting a second pay cheque, must be three by now.

Overall I thought the episode was pretty good.

Not the super-dooper reboot we were lead to believe. In fact, pretty much exactly as it left off. Lots of boring stuff with all the Geminon church bits. I was also thinking they'd done something quite brave and killed off Amanda and maybe even Zoe, but no. 5 out of 10.

Thise are some pretty bad numbers, but then this is the SyFy channel. SGU wasn't much better. Still, if that continues, I can't see Caprica going beyond this season.

I'm trying my best to like it but it's impossible..realise I absolutely detest it...it's nothing like BSG and I'm gonna pretend Caprica never existed...
Now back to watching BSG in it's high def glory for the 3rd time

I agree, the show's got a lot of interesting pieces to it.

But there's also quite a bit that's not working (the religion thing is just a bad idea badly implemented) and I'd worry there isn't enough splosions to keep the viewing figures up.

Wasn't a great episode but I still like it.

They should dial down the Splosions cause the CGI is terrible. I would rather see the V world as the main side story to the physical creation of the Cylons but the Religion thing is just boring. And Amanda Graystone is just pointless. I actually hope Willow kills her. She'll be used as some sort of bait for Zoe-lon to recreate the code I'm sure.

i do hate the religious stuff, but at the same time the religion a hugh part of how the cylons came to being who they are, they believe in the one true god, compared to the human who believe in many gods, its the core difference between humans and cylons, so therefore will be very muct to the forefront of the cylons creation, and the show in general,

i dont know what way the show is gonna go, i loved the V world with tamara, dunno if zoe will fit in there, i think it would have worked much better if tamara was in zoes position, i always like it when tamara is around, shes a very interesting caracter, has little to no limitations, while zoe is a bit of a whiney baby, i dont inderstand why TPTB always make the whiney one the lead actors, that and tamara is way nicer than zoe,

i wasnt really surprised to see amanda alive, i was surprised to see she was with clerice, i wonder how clerice plan on useing amanda, does she even have access to zoes data or what, i dont recall it ever being mentioned,

Finally got around to watching it today. Big lol @ final scene. The rest of the episode just seemed like set up material for the back half of the season. A bit *yawn*

Watched this last night. Thought it was ok but I'm still not sure how they're going to progress the story. If they Cylons just turn out to have the thoughts of people implanted in them, then it kinda defeats the idea of the machines rebelling.

Oh, looks like sky 1 aren't going to show the new episodes until next year.

Well Caprica is back and boring as ever. Lets hope that some things change in the next few episodes because I am disappointed.
