    Hi,

Im looking for an early morning masters group in either south dub or city center of a decent standard covering 3k+. I know about newpark and glenalbyn but there sessions finish at 8:15-8:30 and I would'nt make it into town for 9am. So a session in south dub finishing at 8am or a city center one anytime really would be perfect!! Or any lunch time groups?!

    Thanks for any suggestions

    Hi Airscotty

I swim some morning in the markievicz pool, which is located behind pearse street fire station. The pool opens at 7am. They have 2 fast lanes and then meduim & slow lanes. There is a pretty good standard of swimmer and one lane where a group of people do sets, again at a good level.

Dont go at lunch time if you want to do a series session as it can get busy and there can be a big mix of standards in one lane.

    Cheers

Check out the ESB pool at Ringsend in complex called Sportsco. Good big pool and treated with ozone rather than chlorine I believe. Might suit?

    hi airscotty

i would recommend the masters am sessions run by tony morris in belvedere college pool. It is on north side of town but very central and could suit for work. the main set runs from 7 to 7:45 if you need to get more than 2.5k then the pool is open from 6:30 and you can just do your own thing until the main set kicks in.

there is a good range of pace in different lanes starting at people doing sets of 100s off 1:30 (i.e. incl. rest) up to maybe 100s off 2:00

It is 7€ pay as you go
