I am looking to build a combat flight simulator, pref based on a fast jet , from the last 20 years or so . if possible i want to use projectors, and to have full 180degree views. I believe this is relatively easy with MS flight sim, but im wondering does anyone know if this is possible or practical with something like…

Id take a look at mycockpit.org. You will get some good ideas there. I have used Lock on FC2 and the views and their options in that sim make it perfect for a home cockpit. Good luck with the project. Keep us updated.
