Help needed - iphone 3gs charging and lock up issues

    I have 1 16gb iphone 3gs on vodafone network, since last software update i have been unable to charge the phone with my car charger as it says that device is not supported for some reason ( has been fine for the last 9 months ) and now the phone also seems to be locking up every so often.

    Any suggestions???

    also tried system restore this morning but has made no difference.

    :(

    Try a hard reset if the phone. Hold the home button and power off together until the Apple Logo appears and release.
    It sorted issues I had with the car stereo.

    unfortunately its still the same, any other suggestions? only seems to be since last software upgrade i think
