what coins /notes to look for at carboots ??

    going to killkenny car boot tomoro morning im getting back into coin collecting have a okish collection need to improve .what should i look out for ? price range on millenium coins or old irish notes help me :)

    I would say your flogging a dead horse there as no other coin collector is going to put you wise on how to make a killing. I always collect what I like rather than what I think may be valuable. If I'm looking to make money my purchases are based on information learnt the hard way rather than other people giving me pointers. :)

    You need to learn every single coin & note's value in various conditions for yourself. No offense but the fact that you are asking about millennium coins and even considering dealing with them, would indicate you have no knowledge of values and therefor more likely to get stung than find that gem. Be careful out there :)

    hey blade i no a little have a okish collection just back from a car boot sale got a few things see what u think and wat i should of paid for them lol
    2x douglas hyde crisp mint cond 50 pound notes 2 of them 14.2.1996
    decimal coinage on ireland case unc coins 7 coins in it millen pound 2p 5p 10p 20p 50p 1p all 2000 year. old irish ten pound note lady lavery good cond 19.5.71 help would be aprreciated :)

    Don't know much about notes, so someone else might fill you in there. The coin set depends which one you have, if it's the official one below it's worth around 70 Euro, if they were put together by someone else in those perspex cases, then around 10 to 15 Euro is what they fetch retail.
