Audi A4 losing power

    Hi, I have a 2004 Audi A4 1.6. Few months ago the Engine management light came on. After starting up, it goes ok until it reaches max temperature. Then there is an almost immediate loss of power, really sluggish response. If I stop for any reason, it then takes at least 10 mins(or until engine cools) to start again. Brought to mechanic, nothing showed up on VAG, he replaced 2 sensors and it went ok for a few days. Started giving trouble again this week. Any ideas what could be wrong, thanks.
