Aer Lingus appear to be €417.00 - not that bad really and a quick glance would suggest a fair few december dates available for 10-20 euro extra each way so sub €450 quite comfortably.

Ebookers offer direct flights for same dates for €375..but undeniably and clearly an indirect flight for 9% less is a bargain alert..

Look at it this way... you get to see more of the world for 9% less.
