    Hi,
I need to replace a tyre on the front of my 2004 Avensis, I got them changed over in England last time and got excellent Hancook Ventus Prima Tyres, Unfortunatly about a month later I hit a pot hole and got a nice bubble on the side wall of one of them got it replace with, what I was told was the just the closet tyre to mine and they gave me a Nexen, which was a terrible tyre and has now only 1mm of thread even though the other 3 hancook have 3mm of thread.

Anyhow looking for a recommendation to what tyre is good as I cant seem to get the Hancook over here in Ireland unless I import it myself.

    Any suggestions

Ideally you should replace the tyre on the opposite side too, each axel should have a matched pair of tyres of the same wear condition.

Just to mention, that's just a requirement of common sence, but it's not required by law in Ireland.
