iPhone texting.

    Just got an iphone 3g unlocked today in a store and everything was fine, brought it home working perfectly but now in the text messaging portion chinese characters are turing up instead of english! Anyone come accross this before and know how to fix it?

    Try going into Settings > General > International > Keyboards.

    The top one for me says English (UK), so if not, maybe you've a few keyboards listed? Pick the English one.

    EDIT:

    I've actually added Simple Chinese to mine now! Now, when texting, there is a small globe to the left of the Space bar.

    Anyway, I just went back to Keyboards, clicked Edit and deleted the Chinese thing again.
