mail not working

    my mail wont sync or get my emails, when i try update it tells me my gmail username or password is incorrect, they arent because i check them on my laptop with the same password. I've deleted and re-entered my details but i get the same problem, i get the same problem on eirtext pro at times but then i just resend and its ok.
    the only thing i can think of is that it may be a problem with restoring my ipod yesterday but even at that my mail was working fine earlier today.
    anyone else have similar problems

    Delete the mail account and start it again. Make sure you dont put caps on or something when inputting password. Other then that, just check and doublecheck your spellings?

    iv done all that twice now but still the same problem. im hoping it might have been on the google side of things.

    Are you using the inbuilt Gmail settings? Check to make sure IMAP access is enabled on Gmail?
