    hi,
    i just changed the sparkplugs on my megane 1.4.
    i now have a "check injection" and "service" sign on the dash as well as a flashing symbol that i think has to do with the injection.
    while changing the plugs i noticed that the two centre coils did not seem to have any effect on the engine when it was running.
    the two outer ones had a dramatic effect when removed.
    the car is running but not with full power and does not sound right.
    do you think if i replaced the two centre coils that it might solve the problem or should i go to a mechanic.
    any help would be appreciated.

    sounds like the two coils were fecked to begin with. they give trouble on the megans. is yours pre 03 model? 50 euro a coil will have ya right

    €50 ? GSF Have them for less than €25.

    have never got em for myself just for a few sales cars, €50 is what they are in our parts dpt. didnt know other prices so just quoted the one i knew;)

    its the 03 1.4 megane.
    went to local autoparts and got two for 70 eoro.
    fitted them and all warnings on the dash were gone.
    car running smoothly.
    gonna replace the other two next month.
    appreciate the help.

    quick update.
    driving to work this morning.
    "check injection" and "service" lights came on again.
    car still running better than it was,but higher revs.
