    There is a big sticker on your windscreen with a reminder.
    It even gives the exact date your NCT expires.

    about as hard as it is for you to remember ,,do you have to get reminders about birthdays, anniversaries, health checks, etc. etc.

    I know mine is up some time around the end of this year/January next year so Ill check closer to the time.

    I agree with you, a reminder is nice and its inconvenient if you dont get one, but to be fair you should know that its been a while since your last NCT and its not hard to know when it is due. Certainly no excuse for letting it lapse for 7 months.

    Was talking about forgetting birthdays etc.Did you not see the qoute above where I said 'meh just a verbal bollixing'

    And i think the fact that you can get fined that plus the points is a very good reason to email you.Emails/texts cost f all.
    Its done for tax and insurance wouldnt be a big step for nct.

    Well i somehow managed it,and innocently too.

    My shock would of been genuine if I had got colared by the gards.

    No harm done anyway,have a date for next week.

    Still think they should send out reminders all the same:P

    Edit:when i Was on the nct website you book online with a booking number so maybe they are sending out reminders?

    I agree looking at the Window but they should Text or Email you just like the Passport expiration reminder by email (if you sign up for it on there site)
