not all lecturers put their material up on blackboard. you may need to go to the lectures to get the notes

there should be a list of modules listed on the right hand side of the page - My Courses. there could be a problem with your registration. email your lecturer and say that his module isn't showing up on your blackboard. are there other courses there?

I think i might need to e-mail my lecturer and tell him there is a problem because none of my lectures are showing up there! Thanks!! :D

as commented on another thread, it might be that the lecturer concerned hasn't selected the 'make course available' option. By default Blackboard modules are only accessible by the teaching staff until they have materials uploaded and are then ready to be released. Occassionally a staff member may forget that they have to select this option. Worth dropping them a note to ensure that they have made it available. It takes a couple of clicks for them to fix the problem if that's what it is.

When you log into blackboard, click on "Course Catalog"

On the right hand side, you should have all the courses you are enrolled in. Click on the one you want, and an announcements page will come up. Then if you click on the "documents" link on the left side of the page, there should be lecture notes in there :)

If not, your lecturer probably hasn't put them up yet.

My English blackboard is AWOL aswell. Legal Science is grand, but I think there's some sort of technical problems with the English one.

no technical problems, with Blackboard, but in first Arts you won't appear in Blackboard until the schools and college process all the module choices and send it formally to records. Once you have actually been enrolled on a module you will have access to the Blackboard site for that module - provided of course the lecturer has made it available.

well I'm 4th Arts. I just sent a mail to reghelp@nuigalway.ie with my module numbers and student number and now it's sorted
