Ok, so my conferring which originally was scheduled for October has now been pushed forward to November, which is kinda inconvenient for many of my classmates as they had already booked their tickets home.. (it's was a 2 year MA and some just had to get away!).

I really want to book my flights home asap before they get too expensive, but conferring office keep telling me all they know its that I'll be graduating "the week of.."..No date or time yet.

Is it too much to ask? Can't really afford to book the whole week off work just in case.. would the departments themselves know?

The conferring will take place over three days, Wed-Fri, 24 - 26 November inclusive. No firm info on what's on on particular days.

Yeah I got that from the website, but would be handy to know whether it's first thing Wednesday morn or last thing Friday eve :)
