Bet of the weekend has to be Shamrock Rovers -1 at 9/10. Rovers only beat Galway 6-0 in the FAI Cup last Friday and Galway will be missing Barry Ryan, their goalkeeper and Stephen O'Donnell their Centre midfielder.

Match previews for the games are here: www.extratime.ie/

should be worth noting that Sligo-Monaghan is a cup final.

I reckon Cork should beat Longford - they have a good vein of form going into the game....first 20mins will tell ...if Cork get an early goal ...if not it will end out in a 1-1 draw

Cork, Derry, Waterford, shamrock rovers and Pats to win.

Rovers -2 is 13/5. Bulks up an accumulator quite nicely.

Longford aren't a bad team and I'd say Cork will struggle, Waterford -v- Lims match is very hard to call imo, over 2.5 goals would be a good bet. Be throwing my selections in my log in a while.

    4 out of 5 aint bad !!

only problem is when I put money on it (or think about my selections) ... it always goes horribly pear shaped.

tends to happen when you place 5 bets lol

Bett off doing singles or maybe a double you are confident of. I only ever do accumulators these days as long shots for the craic. Had a 4 game one come off tonight but was only a fiver stake.

Longford weren't great tonight supposedly, but had a peno saved. Got the Waterford match wrong at hard to call but over 2.5 goals right. As for my selections, had an 11/1 shot come in, finally some luck and profit.
