Very easy for bjj to take first place in life. I would just like to speak/roll with other born again christians in the sport think it would be good to hear from other people

Fair and simple question, let's keep it on topic please.

There's one quite high profile guy who brings a Bible to the ring for matches. Matt Horwich maybe? I'm not sure of the name but I'm sure someone else will confirm.

    Cheers Clive,

    Is he irish??

No, he's American, he was just the first person who came to mind. I'm sure there are a few Irish people who fit the bill.

Dont mean to sound controversial but i would put bjj and mma as the 2 most atheist sports i know of as far as fans and participants go, dont know why, maybe my friends etc are just that way inclined though! Honestly would others agree with this?

I wouldnt say that. A lot of fighters/coaches I know are at complete oppisite ends of the spectrum. Sure all those people who train and have a crucifix tatoo must be religious.
Never came across a born again in the sport though.

I would say the great majority of fighters from Brazil are christian.

Been around the sport a long time i think its only the "cage fighters" and meat heads whom are non reliougs.. I dont want to start a whole faith disscution. I just want to get in contact with some christian irish BJj or sub wrestling coaches or fighters

Wow, that's as offensive as some of the nonsense evangelical atheists come out with.

Best of luck with your search.

Thread locked, OP your statement there just ruined your search as inflammatory posts tend to have that effect.
