VOIP/SIP program for mac ?

    Guys,

    Signed up with Goldfish.ie the other day for a virtual number & it's all up & running but I need to get a client for my mac. can anyone recommend something (preferable open source/free) that's easy to configure ?

    Hi iMax,

    I've used x-lite from www.counterpath.com on both Windows and Linux machines and it's easy to get up and running.

    Haven't used it on a Mac, but there is a download available. Also the Windows and Linux clients are very similar to each other, so there's no reason why the Mac client would be less intuitive or reliable

    there is an app called telephone.app

    used to use it hooked up to a VoIP PBX and worked a treat, even on my rubbish line
