John Daly's book is quite an easy read, some of the stuff he got up to and how he lived was unreal. A bit repetitive.

    Monty's book is good.

Agree. An easy read. About how he spent millions on women, drink & gambling - & the rest he wasted!:)

Great book - golf is such a simple game - just "take dead aim". Ideal holiday book - you can open it on any page. Each lesson (chapter) is just a page or two long - some even shorter. Don't forget his little blue book - "The Game of a Lifetime" & little black book - "And if you play golf, you're my friend". I'd strongly recommend every golfer to read these simple teachings of a master.

Golf is Not a Game of Perfect - Bob Rotella.

Read it when I started playing and still find it pretty useful to steady myself before each shot.

Im reading a book at the moment called "The Match" by Mark Frost. Its basically a story about a wager between two millionaires back in the 1950's where one millionaire states that the two amateur golfers (Ken Venturi and Harvey Ward) he has working for him at his car showroom would beat any two professionals in the world in a best ball match. The other millionaire accepts the bet and shows up the next day for the match with Byron Nelson and Ben Hogan as his two golfers. The match is played at Cypress Point. Great Read so far, would certainly recommend it. Very easy to read too.

I loved Preferred Lies by Andrew Greig,

'If you have, or ever have had, any interest in golf, buy this book and read it. Buy it for your loved one, your lost one, the Saturday morning medal deserter . . . They and you will love it, inhabit it, and possibly be transformed by it. It's the best book about golf I've ever read.' (Tom Moreton SUNDAY HERALD )
