Travel to WHL for Newbie

    Hi

    heading to see a game at the lane and am looking for help on traveling

    Which airport to fly onto ?

    Heathrow or Stanstead

    Best way and how to get to the stadium

    Bus?, Train?, Underground?, Taxi ?

    Do they allow backpacks?

    Any help appreciated

    stansted,then get on train which is downstairs at airpoprt,get stansted express to tottenham hale then 15 mins walk.

    as the lads have said - Recklessones thread really has everything in it.
    as for backpacks - yes but they will search it and throw out anything they consider dangerous such as bottles with caps on them..

    Depends on several things. where you're flying from, what time the ko is, how long you're staying. If you're in and out on the day for an early ko than Stansted is best but if you're flying from Cork or Shannon for a night game the Ryanair flights are early morning and will have you up in Tottenham for a late breakfast! A long day up there waiting for a 7.45pm ko!
    Also bear in mind that if you flight into Heathrow you can get the tube all the way to Seven Sisters.

    Really it depends on all the factors I've mentioned above and of course the most important one the cost of the flight!
