A row has erupted over Katy Perry’s appearance on the Sesame Street episode due to be screened on New Year’s Eve. Producers of the show pulled the clip after parents complained that the singer was dressed too raunchily for their children.

Saw a clip of her singing at an awards show, awful. She wouldn't carry a tune in a bucket. Her fame seems to be down to shock tactics singing about teh ghey wimmin.

I usually laugh at things people complain about but that dress is inappropriate for a childs TV show. The dress is just about covering her nips!

^ yeah but blame the producers, not Katy!...they let her film the segment in that dress, the fact they posted the clip on YT to gain reaction/publicity speaks volumes. Katy Perry is lovin' the publicity!

Why not blame Katy? She knows what Sesame Street is and who watches it. Anyone with a bit of cop on would know dressing like that is a bit much for childrens TV. Like I said in my previous post it was probably done on purpose. I'm sure by the producers and by Katy. You even said yourself she's loving the publicity.
