Can someone suggest a phone to me that's available in Dublin, under €130 and has WiFi, Camera and a Memory card slot?

Well, like, if you only spend 130 and want wifi, like, and a camera, like, then you aren't going to get much of a phone, liiiike.

That's not necessarily true. About 6 months ago I bought an unlocked Samsung Jet for €99. It has WiFi, a 5MP camera, comes with 8MB internal memory and a memory card slot. I heard about the phone thanks to a post on this board and I love it. It has a great media player too, probably the best purchase I've made in a long time. It has a few minor quirks, but all the other advantages make up for it. Sort of a poor mans I-Phone. Unfortunately the the site where I bought it, Maxroam has since raised their price to €149. but even at that price it has everything you want and more for only an extra €19 and if you keep an eye on it, they may reduce it again or you might get something similar for less. Samsung have been flooding the market with a lot of different WiFi phones. Also you can look on ebay for unlocked Android phones.

The best phone with WIFI is the iphone... without a doubt there is no comparison.

used to have an LG and was useless.

Nokia e63 is a very good phone for the price

Vodafone just launched a Blackberry for €139 on payg for new customers. it has no 3g though

The best phone with wifi is the n900 without question. It supports flash, divx, runs linux. The I phone is no match for it

I'm sure if you looked around on their websites or called into carphone warehouse they could tell you. not that i'm recommending carphone warehouse... you can just use them for advice and take it from there.

doesn't give a great review. It also mentions that hte gt540 runs android 1.6 which is a good few versions back. If you are investing over 200 in a phone I'd like to get a more current version at lesast 2.0+ the very latest one is 2.2

This article gives a good overview of your problem. At the money you're talking, you'll probably have to settle for a phone running and android version before 2.0. If you could afford a bit more, there's alot more on offer. I have a motorola milestone, which is on 2.1 and has a nice physical keyboard in addition to the touchscreen, which i really wanted, but if you were happy with just touch, there are a lot of nice android phones with 2.0 or better for the 300 mark. Maybe santa could come early for you?:)

Look at the android phones on three,02 and vodafone and you will find a decent one ebay for 200
