Unreal #1 choice, it was some goal in fairness. Some vision to set it up

The Dan Shanahan goal in the Munster final replay should be way higher than 17. Pretty much a perfect shot and at a fairly vital moment.

I dont agree with Richie Power's goal against Dublin being in the top 5 at all. The game was over as a contest when that was scored, perfect as it may have been.

Cant believe Lar Corbett's first goal in the AI final wasnt included either. Completely brought the game to life and an absolute exhibition in catching.

Corbett got a savage goal against Wexford if I remember correctly.

6 points in it at the time he scored it - it was already won but it was that goal that really turned it from a win into a 'how many?' kind of game.

Eoin Kelly's goal against Cork should be #1 for me, with Power v Dublin #2. Ben O'Connor's free shouldn't be so high at all.

Richie Power's goal against Cork and Shane Dooley's against Galway I'd put higher.

Eanna Ryan's should have been higher IMO but fair top 2 choices.

Only other one I'd have in it was Shefflin's goal against Galway which was a top class finish. Didn't think Shanahan's goal was all that great. He hit it way too soon and Cusack should have stopped. Each of Richie Power's goals are fantastic. What a player.

I actually think that's what Cusack out though. It was well taken from that point of view I'd say.

Absolutely. Had a huge year and would have been close to POTY if KK had won. To be a big player on a team going for 5-in-a-row is impressive and he's still young enough to do a lot more.

It probably was. At the end of the day though Cusack is a poor shot stopper by inter county standards. He's improved hugely over the past decade but he still let in a fair few soft ones in the league this year.

I thought Shanahan was beyond useless this year overrall. You'd have to ask questions of that generation of Waterford players of he could come out and seriously suggest he was playing well and deserved more game time. He was awful this year.
