City Centre - > Blanchardstown

    Never been to Blanchardstown before but I'd like to go along to the retail park to Harvey Normans and Currys.

    Could someone tell me the best way to get there from Dublin centre via bus or train please?

    Best bet is to get the 39 bus, it drops you off right in the middle of the Centre itself. Next best option is the 70, but that's a short bit of a walk, and the stop is a little obscure to pick out.

    Get the 39 either on Hawkins St. or either end of Dame St. Fairly regular as well, so shouldn't be waiting more than 10 minutes.

    Traffic plays quite a part, I'm usually only on it late at night if I am, so could theoretically be anywhere between 40 minutes to an hour plus if during rush hour.

    I wouldn't advise the train, since you'd have to get off at Coolmine or Castleknock and either walk a long way or try get a connecting bus, which is rather a slim service.
