i have a 7 by 4 single axle trailer which i use to get coal and cart the ride on lawnmower. this year twice i have been on journeys and a loud screech has come from the bearing in one of the wheels (this particular one has lost its cap so the nut is showing) and gets really hot when screeching. it happened twice. after i got home each time i filled it up with greece and off it went for anoth three months but happened again lately. dont know much about them but what do ye think is wrong

The bearing is worn, you need to fit a new one.
