What does a DVD in a bubble wrap package weigh?

    I'm going blue in the face here looking at Ebay sellers that either don't list Ireland or want to charge £5 for poxy delivery! I'm pretty sure the difference between posting a DVD to another UK destination from the UK and posting to Ireland from the UK is minimal so I'm trying to work it out on Royal Mail's website.

    Does anyone know about what a 2-disc DVD in an amaray plastic case inside a bubble wrap envelope weighs?

    I would guess less than 100g, but it doesn't matter because they can charge whatever they like. You knowing the price will not change that, or get them to reduce their prices.

    Right so say it weighs about 125grams that works out essentially the same to post here as to post to UK 2nd class:

    I guess you're probably right as we have feck all purchasing power when it comes to ebay. I'm going to try though.


    Ps. did ebay do away with their mandatory "free P&P" on DVDs for the UK?

    Because I'm really bored this afternoon, I just weighed a plastic 2-disc DVD case (discs included) with a No 2 Jiffy Padded Envelope for you and it came in at just over 200g :D

    Thanks. Didn't help though as I got a snotty reply back from the seller proclaiming he'd rather keep the sale as UK only to make things simple.
