I've being eyeing up the Smoke and Mirrors Nars Palette but it isn't on their official site anymore and I can't find it on ebay, would anyone know if it's still in store or if there's a similar palette? I want smokey neutral type colours!

Thanks a million!:D Also does anyone know how much they are in BT'S?

Or failing that, a palette that's similar!

Not a huge help but if you don't get the answer you're looking for you could always ring and ask BT's to put you through to the NARS counter, I have done it a few times for MAC, Chanel, etc and it was no problem.
If its not available you could order from the states, I always order my NARS powder/blush/lip gloss from Nordstrom!

Great idea, just checked them out and they don't seem to have the eye palettes at the moment!

Will ring BT's tomorrow if I can't get anywhere, appreciate the help!

I love NARS make up especially the powder, I usually use a translucent powder to set my foundation when I go out but I really like how the powder sets on my face. Sadly I've hit pan so I will have to order a new one soon.

I know there's a new Urban Decay neutral palette too but it looks a little dark for pale skin! Does anyone have it and can they let me know!

I got a lovely laura mercier palette a couple of months ago, cant remember what its called but it has black/grey/silver smokey eye colours, then cream/brown smokey eyes colours, also a powder liner to match each. Got it online in Sephora, not sure if they deliver to Ireland though. Its covered in black patent leather if that helps at all, may not be exactly what you're looking for.

Just looked at the Nordstrom website to see how much Nars Orgasm blusher would be - €20ish, all good. Then saw the delivery - more than €30!

What about one of the 88 palettes on ebay (coastal scents sell these identical ones but just add their name to the lid).

    88 warm palette ($10.28 - €7.68 inclduing shipping):

I have 3 of the 88 palettes including this one and they're very good quality and so cheap.

    Is it the Naked palette?
I'm really pale and its definitely not too dark for me. You can do a look as light or as dark as you want as theres such a big variety of colours

Yeah sorry it's the naked palette, glad to hear it's not too dark, just as I'm pale if shadows are too dark they look a bit mad for day time!

So you'd get a lot of use out of all the shades?

I've always heard so much about these palettes, I've just always assumed they can't be good because they're so cheap! Do they have good staying power?

Realised I was mixing up the name of the Nars Palette but I've decided to go for the Urban Decay one now! It'll be as a birthday pressie from a family member so can anyone confirm it's still in stock in the shops??

If its not in the shops they'll be getting it back in. Give debenhams a ring and they should be able to let you know. House of Fraser stock it as well.

I went in and asked for it in Boots in Liffey Valley and they just didnt have them on display, had loads in the drawers though

Yeah the delivery is flat rate so you can order as much as you like for the $75 charge, I usually order 1000+ Eur to make it worth it. However if you just want an item or two you can ring one of the big nordstrom stores and they'll ship it for you with a normal shipping price

I read it that the poster meant Urban Decay, not Nars, and it was the Naked palette that they had in the drawer...

Sorry I'm confusing everyone:D Wanted Nars originally but now thinking the Urban Decay Naked Palette has more choices for a better price:)

I read on twitter last night that boots in Liffey Valley are doing a three for two on urban decay so if you had a couple of friends that wanted one good time to stock up!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,127 ✭✭✭Linguo

Oh brilliant! Or I could be greedy and get two things for myself and one free:D:D:D

I'd be worried about getting caught for customs and VAT on that!

I just got the Naked Palette (although it's a birthday pressie from my nana so I can't use it yet..damn:)) and it looks lovely, was worried it would be too dark cause I'm pale but it seems really nice!

You can buy Nars on Hqhair which is a UK website. They also have the Urban Decay Naked palette.

Got the UD Naked Palette (and their Book Of Shadows Vol 3) at the weekend and it is GORGEOUS!! I'm booked as the MUA for a wedding (my 1st) next Summer and I know some of the colours from this palette will be amazing on the bride!! Think it is super value for 12 shadows for €33 :D
