Carmelback Strap Issue

I got a camelback lately 1.5L. Cost €45. Have used it once and found it very annoying as the shoulder straps kept becoming loose. It has one cross strap arcoss the chest.

Is this normal with these bags or is this a fault. Can it be corrected in anyway?

I've not run with my shoulder strapped Camelbaks as I just use them for skiing, or carrying beer around at festivals. I have a waist one though but it has extra straps on the sides for pulling it even tighter which I do need to do as going round and drinking from it it becomes looser and starts to move about.

Which model do you have? Have you pulled all of the different straps as they often have quite a few?

I am sometimes using a CamelBak Velocity for running and have no issue what so ever with the straps.
They should not loosen. You could stich the shoulder straps i guess. IMO, i never change the settings of these 2 straps, and simply use the chest strap for adjustment as i drink the water.
